Fake News: The San Antonio Express Promotes the Democrat Candidates, Already.
Bill Lambrecht, reporter for the liberal/leftist San Antonio Express-News, didn’t waste any time in providing a front page fake news bias report regarding the local run-off results last night (Tuesday, May 22, 2018). Lambrecht wrote glowing of Democrat runoff winners while hardly mentioning the Republicans, and voters should get ready for this type of slanted pro-Democrat reporting through until November.
Lambrecht gushes about Gina Ortiz-Jones, who challenge Republican incumbent congressman Will Hurd in TX Dist.-23, and writes extensively about Joseph Kopser who will run against Republican Chip Roy in TX Dist-21.
He writes that Ortiz “will pit her intelligence and security credentials” against Hurd, and mentions she is a “veteran”. He also describes Kopser as an entrepreneur and a “decorated Iraq War veteran”.
Apparently, Democrats are pushing the veteran credentials of their candidates in hopes that voters will forget or overlook their anti-American and anti-Constitutional politics. While being a veteran is a very noble thing, the overall political views of the candidate should matter. Let’s remember that John Kerry is a decorated veteran.
Democrats in recent elections in Pennsylvania and Alabama have run to the center, even embracing conservative issues like gun ownership and rejecting Nancy Pelosi. Likewise, these two Democrat candidates will support some conservative issues, and the SA Express and other liberal media will help them highlight it.
Ortiz, Kopser, and other Democrats will campaign as “appear-middle-of-the-road”, reasonable, pro-Constitution, pro-Texas, and even America First candidates. But we should understand that liberal/leftists follow the Saul Alinsky and Malcom X motto of gaining power “by any means necessary”.
Ortiz is an openly gay woman who is "pro-immigrant" (that means illegal alien), and supports Obama Care, abortions, greater gun controls, and who wants to impeach Trump. Would she support the 1st Amendment or would she force a baker to make a cake regardless of the baker’s religious views?
Kopser is a white male and businessman, but does he support government preferential treatment of certain “protected groups” that leaves other groups unprotected? As a businessman, does he support big government, more regulations, and higher taxes?
Voter also need to recognize the liberal Media will try help Democrats present and push their agenda. The SA Express, the Texas Tribune, the Austin Statesmen, Univision, and other news outlets will favor Democrats while they criticize conservatives and Republicans.
If a Democrat candidate is promoted by the liberal Media as a war hero, voters need to remember Democratic Party is the party of the Clintons, Obama, the Castros, and Maxine Waters. They support impeachment and resistance, judicial activism to overturn the will of the people, abortion on demand, open orders and globalism, gun-control, climate change regulations, limits on religious freedoms, and in Texas, re-imagining the Alamo.
Voters beware. Politicians are very good at masquerading their true agendas, and Democrats running in Texas will be masters at appearing “conservative”.
The defense of personal political and economic freedoms starts in your backyard with your vote. Conservative must be careful not to be fooled by wolves in sheep’s clothing, especially when the liberal Media is providing the wolf’s disguise.
