A Washington Post article dated Dec. 28, 2018, reports that Democrats are perplexed that Hispanic/Latino support for President Trump continues to be above 30%, even in the face of Trump's immigration hard line. However, the article reveals their lack of understanding about conservative Latino voters, and it also shows ignorance and racism by Democrats towards Latinos in general.
In the November 2018 midterm elections, 32 percent of Latinos voted for Republicans, according to an AP VoteCast data survey conducted by the University of Chicago. Democrats and their liberal media allies wonder why Latinos aren’t voting 80-20 or 90-10 the way black voters vote?
Though Democrats consider Latino voters to be a crucial part of their liberal-leftist-progressive coalition, there is a large and steady bloc of Republican Latinos even on immigration issues. There are several reasons why Hispanics/Latinos are not following the black voting pattern.
