A Texas National Guard soldier has reportedly drowned while trying to save migrants in the Rio Grande River near the southern border. The tragedy happened on Friday, April 22, in the morning when illegal aliens began moving across the international border.
Fox News reporter Bill Melugin reported that the soldier drowned in the water near Eagle Pass, a border town 143 miles southwest of San Antonio and that he was trying to save migrants at the time. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the soldier's body has not been recovered.
This incident is another tragedy caused by the liberal, open-border policies of the Biden Administration and the Democrats who encourage illegal and uncontrolled immigration. Migrants have been killed by the cartels, drowned in the river, and died of exposure.
This soldier died, saving the lives of people who should not be encouraged to come.
