In a show of delusional self-importance, members of the “Reliable Revolutionaries,” a Black Lives Matter subgroup in San Antonio, are demanding SA City Councilman Clayton Perry resign. Perry is being targeted because he did not kneel in a city council meeting to “honor” their cause as they demanded. However, someone should explain several things to these “revolutionaries.”
First, the revolutionaries need to understand (accept) that the citizens of SA district 10 elected Perry, and he serves at their will. Any changes in district representation should be done and will be done, by the voters and not by petulant outsiders.
Second, the American political system is based on local people representing their local interests. If those interests clash with anyone outside the district, including the revolutionaries, it’s not the outsiders’ role to change or remove the duly elected representative.
Third, BLM wants to take “the revolution into the suburbs” to “teach whites a lesson.” This protest is not politics, but rather, it’s the intimidation of innocent citizens and anyone who differs with the BLM agenda. This tactic is political bullying.
Pharaoh Clark, a member of the “Reliable Revolutionaries,” told Spectrum News, “We have officially called for Councilman Perry to resign. If he doesn’t resign, we will be here regularly, and you will hear us. You have new neighbors.” That statement shows a lot of arrogance and chutzpah and indicates their intention to harass the neighborhood.
BLM and its allies are disrupting people’s private lives, disrespecting law and order, and worst, disrespecting the voters of D-10. Blocking the streets in a quiet neighborhood and loudly protesting is an assault on civilized behavior that must not be tolerated.
This protest is a public tantrum by immature and insecure people who have developed an extreme sense of entitlement and self-importance.
The citizens of San Antonio pay taxes to have their homes protected, where they can live in safety and peace. If the City leaders don’t want to protect the law-abiding citizens of San Antonio, then the citi9zens should stop paying city taxes and defend themselves.
The citizens of San Antonio’s D-10 must stand firm against these arrogant, delusional “revolutionaries.” The rest of SA’s neighborhoods should also beware because they could be next if they don’t fall in line with the BLM-ANTIFA radical leftist agenda. Today it’s me and my neighborhood, and tomorrow it will be you and yours.
